The free test
The test runs in your browser. You do not need an account or an email address to see your score. Your answers, timings and result are kept in your own browser's local storage so the report can be rebuilt on this device; clearing your browser data removes them.
When you buy the full report
When you choose to buy, your test result (your answers, the time spent on each puzzle, the test date and a result ID, with no name or email) is sent to our server and stored so that the paid report can be opened again from your receipt link, on any device. We keep it until you ask us to delete it. The name you type on the certificate stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record and handles tax for the sale. Stripe collects your card details and email address on its own checkout page under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details.
Analytics and cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising tools, and we set no tracking cookies. Our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
Other services the pages load
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the PDF download loads a library from cdnjs. These services receive your IP address when they send the files.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete a stored result or tell you what we hold. Quote the result ID shown on your report or certificate.
